It’s January now and that means it’s going to start getting really cold down here in Florida so I’ve prepared ways to stay warm in winter for Floridians. I tried to make sure just about anyone could follow these steps however a few of these are going to cost a couple bucks but I assure it’ll all be worth it!

  1. More Clothes- This is something that everyone knows about its still a very efficient way to stay warm when it’s winter, all you have to do is dig into your closet and find those warm clothes like song sleeved shirts, pants, and thick jackets. You’ll be sure to stay toasty.
  2. Warm Foods- I don’t know about the rest of the world but to me the best thing you can do when you are trying to stay warm especially during those really cold, cold spells is to eat some good hot home cooked meals like soup.
  3. Block Windows- A little trick when trying to keep your house warm and trap the heat inside is to block the windows with things like tape. If you don’t want to damage anything just cover your windows with a blanket or pillow and keep the cold air out of the house.
  4. Electric Blanket- This suggestion may cost some money but I’m sure that if you give it a chance you will fall in love with it. The blankets have settings that allow you to adjust the heat and they come in many shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns.
  5. Exercise- A surprising way to stay warm that some of you may not be so open to is exercising that staying still for long periods could make you maker even colder so exercising every now and then can keep the blood flowing and keep you warm.
It is now finally starting to really get cold down here in the forever shining state florida and i want you to stay safe and warm for the rest of this winter!
