This much loved book was finally turned into a movie.

On December 25, 2019 a beautiful movie titled Little Women was released. Based on the 1868 classic novel, set in the years after the civil war has ended but focuses on the sisterhood of the March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy.
As stated previously this movie it set in the past, specifically in the couple of years following the end of the civil war. You’d expect this movie to be a heart wrenching one and you’d be correct in assuming that. It does have some warm sisterhood moments of the March sisters that I’m sure just about anyone can enjoy.
Considering this film is an adaptation we have to take a look at how well the movie and novel go hand in hand together. I’d say the movie does it perfectly. The director Greta Gerwig was marvelously able to give this movie the cold, stony, reserved feeling but also the warm, cozy feel it needed. It is still faithful to the novel and fulfills the wishes of the fans of the book.
The acting in this movie is also very outstanding as the actors were phenomenal. They were able to perfectly bring out the complexity of all the character emotions and feeling. It’s not only the characters that get emotional though.
The movie can and will tug at the strings of your heart and make you cry. The beautiful emotion packed scenes that I’m sure will leave a lasting impact on you, not only will make you cry tears of sadness but will also make you cry tears of joy. It includes warm scenes that are sure to give you a feeling of nostalgia and familiarity.
This movie is all in all a very gorgeous and complex movie and i’m planning to recommend this movie to all my friends and family and i also recommend for you to watch this beautiful film sometime soon.
